AMIR BOMANI
Amir is a Dekalb native who started playing tennis at the age of 5. He got his first coaching job at Clayton County International park at the age of 15 and eventually earned a Division 1 scholarship to Tennessee State University playing 1 doubles and 5 singles. Along with coaching junior and adult tennis, he runs a digital design studio and loves creating new ways to experience life. Amir’s coaching style is centered around strategy and movement. Every sport is like a game of chess and it’s important to actually know why and when you should do certain things and hit certain shots in order to give you the best chance to win. Amir says tennis was ‘his first love’ and enjoys sharing his passion with others whether it be through competition or coaching.
“I am thankful for the coaches that I had but I want to be even better. I take my responsibility incredibly seriously and really make sure each student is understood and taught at the highest level possible.”
